Persona 4 Golden on the Vita / PS TV is the best game in the series by far. Though the Ps2 version is still amazing. And Persona 3 is really amazing as well. First two games are good for their time but you're better off playing just 3 and 4.. Until 5 comes out that is

I have yet to meet anyone who found the DLC good. BaS retroactively ruined the series, trying to connect all the games together was dumb and the idea to do so should never have made it past the brainstorming phase. It was like playing through someone's fanfiction, nothing made sense.

Burial at Sea ? I started playing it a few months ago and i was really impressed , but i don't know for what reason but i abandoned it . It was really good though , you will get hooked in immediately. I don't know how it ends and all that though , didn't even finish part 1.

I think i was kinda done with the Bioshock Infinite gameplay really , i simply wanted to witness the story .

I thought the game was just above average. Maybe I did not like it so much because I played it immediately after finishing DmC which I felt was a vastly superior in just about everything. Wish we got the Metal Gear Rising that Konami was originally developing, one where a no kill playthrough was possible.

Saw the tomb raider one last night, definitely gonna get it when it comes to PS4. Also saw Deus Ex one during E3 and immediately jumped to top 5 of games I saw.

I don't think both should be compared imo, one is a spectacle fighter where you receive new powers/upgrades etc and the other is an action adventure game with old school elements. The bosses are amazing and f*cking hard in Rising, even on normal difficulty, i finished it on very hard in about 3 weeks and when i jumped in to revengeance mode, i got raped on Bladewolf anyways, its always fun to slice in that game. Plus, the soundtrack is amazing, coupled with the insane battles, its like playing a shounen anime

When a game talks more about it's engine and graphics than it does it's actual gameplay features and what you will actually be doing when playing it then it always raises the red light.

I find it pretty tacky Yu Suzuki is using kickstarter to fund Shenmue 3 when he already has backing from Sony to make it.

I also find it pretty weak square(enix lol) has run out of ideas to the point where they feel it necessary to remake a game you can get for ~5 bucks on amazon(if you even choose to buy it and not download the rom) and a game almost everybody already played 15 years ago.

e3 this year succeeded only in making me feel like a geriatric 26 year old.

FF7 remake is the most demanded game out there...only second to Half Life 3. People were begging Square to make it. You are literally the first person I've seen not happy about it.

I would have preferred 6. Chrono Trigger would have generated more hype. Only reason FF7 seems so demanded is because of an E3 a decade ago where they redid the opening cinematic and everyone thought it was an FF7 remake when it was really a demonstration of the engine later used for FFXIII afaik.

Ever since then everyone has been jerkin it to a potential FF7 remake.

Tbf a lot of people consider it their favourite game ever made lol, it's not just because of that.

I don't really care for it or Shenmue but people have been dreaming about that shit every E3 for *bleep* years.

I refuse to believe a kid born in 1999,2000, hell even 1998 that is out there buying a new madden/fifa every year along with a GTA and call of duty is sitting at home begging Square(enix lol) to make a remake to a game that came out when they were infants, and that was remotely popular when they were toddlers. This is appealing to a nichest of niche market.

Square(enix lol) is digging their own grave.

That makes sense, so its a urban legend come true type of thing.

Artistically ff6 was a much superior game. To be honest 7 was not even the best one on the PSX. I feel it was just the first one many young kids(at the time) played and it stuck with them

Chrono Trigger is another "Only popular with certain kids at the time" thing. I mean, wasn't it designed by the guy did that terrible dragon ball manga toriyama? He could have took a dump on a paper and it would have been popular with people back then...hell, thats all dragon ball z was. It was an OK role playing game lifted to cult status due to the popularity of his design.

I remember it having a large group of fans 10 or so years ago when that certain age of gamer made up a vocal majority of internet gamers in the web 00 age. I can't imagine it still having that same want. In fact, when it was announced the majority of the people going over the top with love looked like posers.

The reaction to shenmue was a lot more honest, and that makes a lot of sense. The second ended on a cliff hanger, and many thought it would never finish. The kickstarter looks very tacky to me though. Like, it isn't even funding anything. Shenmue II was like the most expensive game ever made at the time, and even in 1999 it cost the better part of 100 mil. the 2 million they were asking for 3 wouldnt do anything.

That Final Fantasy 7 remake trailer is nearly at 10 million views on Youtube.

It's not a niche market at all lol.
