Honestly, if Hazard keeps playing like this he can separate himself from the group just outside the Top 5 and oust one of Ibra/Suarez by the end of the year.

Loved how hungry he was tonight. Unlucky that Messi esque run towards the end didn't result in a goal. On another day he could have scored 4 or 5.

Eden Hazard is a difference maker for Chelsea, according to Southampton manager Ronald Koeman who praised the Belgian’s performance in the 6-0 win against Maribor.

Koeman, who won the European Cup twice as a player with PSV and Barcelona, praised the 23-year-old who scored twice for the Blues in an easy Group G win.

“Hazard is playing on a very high level,” Koeman said on Sky Sports.

What a load of bollocks, if that's the case why wasn't they rolling through teams last year with the mighty Hazard?

It's Fabregas that makes the difference and it also helps they have a DM to protect everyone and not David Luiz.

Hazard has his flashes of brilliance but to say he's the one making the difference is utter bollocks, he goes through large majority of games doing nothing and then does something eye catching.

He maybe one of the most talented players in the league but his consistency of performance doesn't match that.

No one said he's shit or not legit, only his comments are overly arrogant based on the fact Fabregas is better than him and he defers to his team mates far too often leading to large moments of inconsistency.

Last time I'm going to educate people who simply can't or refuse to read on the subject.

What do you define as "consistency"? Is it giving an assist or scoring a goal every game(or every other game)? Because asides that, he has been fantastic in every match bar 1 or 2 for us this season. I can't count how many times he has drawn defenders away and created space Costa or Oscar to feed on or the amount of "hockey assists"(assist before the assist) he has had this season. So many other things he does. The only thing that's not showing yet are the goals and assists, and they're starting to show gradually.

So when you say "he's not consistent", I really hope you're not referring to these 10 or so odd games we've played in all comps this season. Because it would prove you haven't watched any of the games and you're talking out your arse Laughing
