All the top 10 teams win bar WHU and Newcastle, Hope QPR can get something out of Arsenal.

Upto 9th now, 7 points from 4th.

I was really hoping we would have gotten better results from other games today, but at least Everton lost another home game eco smile

It's a big big game against Swansea on Monday, in fact, I'll get the thread started...

Yeah, this round that's already tomorrow (and our game on Monday) is ideal to us. We are 9th and facing the 8th placed team at home while six teams of the top-7 are facing each other.

I'm hoping, praying for Spurs, Southampton & WHU (all play at home) to win. While those wins will mean the teams maintain the present distance with us (provided we win as well), it will keep the bigger fishes within our striking distance.

I'm sure neither of Spurs, Southampton or WHU are top-four contenders and they will drift further down the table while we will have to dislodge either of ManU & Arsenal to finish T4.

^ Could be, but I don't want Southampton to win. It's halfway through the season now and they're still 4th, it's not all a fluke. We're not going to catch Chelsea anyway, so better if they won that game.

Same Heil. There's absolutely no way we're catching those 2 so hopefully they annihilated all of our other top 4 rivals.

Realistically nobody else in the league should be able to threaten Chelsea and City anyway. They will walk Arsenal, United and, unfortunately, us as well.

Arsenal will end up in the top 4 as they normally do.

United will probably end up there too. Too much goal scoring power in that squad, and we showed everyone last season you don't need to know how to defend to have a good season. Things are started to click for them too under LVG, they're finally getting that confidence / belief back something we lost this season with Luis gone.

Spurs signings from last season are finally geling, and in general they too are settling under Pocahontas. Eriksen.

well I had expected Arsenal to be in top 4 by the end of the new year and they are almost there. It will be tough to break in top 4 from now on unless Arsenal fail to adress their defense issues in the Jan window and ManUtd have found their system. Seems like we will have to fight for 5th

I wanted United and Arsenal bleed as much possible since we need one of them to drop-off to make place for us in top-four.

Actually I don't like to looks at it that way.

Right now we are 8 points away form 4th with a game in hand. So as long as we keep ourselves at 5 points from 4th until Dan comes back we will have a genuine shot.

It doesn't really matter which team is 4th and who we should pass and who we shouldn't.

The results this round were good for us, but it's imperative to get the three points tomorrow evening or there will be just too many clubs running / keeping away from us.

Just imagining Martinez at Liverpool gives me schudders Laughing
Arsenal winning at WestHam just says that it will extremely difficult to replace them as top 4 and they will start performing even better in the second part of the season.
