Toronto FC home opener vs DC United at 4:30 EST....currently 0 degrees celsius here in Toronto right now....probably colder down by the lake where the stadium is...would love to be at the game, but I have to work at 7 Sad

the legend of Bradley and Defoe will continue to grow today

Chicago Fire have signed Tottenham's Grant Ward on loan until the end of July.  I have no idea who he is, to be honest.

Sure we do, I watch him at least once a week :coffee:
Spoiler:

Holy shit on that pass from Bradley to Gilberto to lead to that Defoe goal

So I'm guessing this is the rise in quality we've been waiting for from the entire league, because the start of the season has been pretty amazing. Hope this league form continues...

Gilberto was pretty impressive given it was only his second game after only 45 mins of action in pre season.

he's strong and quick on the ball and looked good running at the defense...could be a great partnership upfront with him and defoe

Defoe could of had a hat trick easily, goalie made good save on a through ball that sent him in alone and he hit outside of post on another chance...what a start he's had

Was really excited to see the rsl vs TFC game. Boy what a disappointment. This game has been awful. There is a foul and stoppage of play literally every 20 seconds. This is like the NFL

Unbelievable number of fouls! Early penalty killed off any confidence in TFC. Sad

NYRB vs Chivas: Robles; Miller, Armando, Olave, Eckersley; Convey, McCarthy, Lyuindula, Sam; Henry, Cahill.

No idea who's decision was to keep Lyuindula nevermind play him in Midfield.

Have a feeling Mike Petke is going to have the managerial equivalent of a sophomore slump

When RB adds a DP this summer.. it needs to be some sort of midfielder. Any kind. They are lacking across the board. Henry drops deeper than Benzema lately because of the lack of quality there.

Xavi man. Imagine that lol. But he will probably retire at Barca.

Another option could be to move Henry in midfield and get a DP ST

Yeah, that could work Razz. tbh, Seeing how Henry has adapted with the loss of athleticism has been quite something. He really orchestrates and creates some great chances. I'd say that it would be more effective if they had a Winger with more pace to stretch and open more space to give Henry the chance to create more down the middle.

And yeah, the Xavi move probably won't happen. Though, from what I hear is that its not the RB that were in for him it was NYCFC, and the mixed up reports were because many reporters were unaware there was a second NY team lol.

Though personally, I'd like to see more MLS teams using their DP slots and aim for younger players, like TFC landing Michael Bradley.
