All about Man City

We're currently in good form atm but it's a bit of fools gold really. We've been a bit fortunate in almost all our results these pays couple of games apart from Steau away who are garbage.

Luiz is a calamity, Cahill is bang average. Torres only shows up in cup games and the less said about our midfield the better.

Aguero, Nasri, Toure and Silva will carve us apart as usual.

Wow, that's almost enough for me to root for Chelsea... almost.

Obviously this is Gil's ritual reverse jinx for big games. However that shouldn't preclude the serious discussion about the game, I honestly think there is very little chance of Man City running away with this. A worrying trend for City supporters is Pellegrini's record on the road. He seems to be having trouble acclimating to the nuances of Premier League away days. He tends to treat them exactly the same as home fixtures, asking his team to continue to push out and attack with the same abandon. Cardiff, Stoke, and Villa are all good examples of this. Recently he's begun to acclimate, making more defensive substitutions and curtailing the attacking impetus to an extent (not to negativity, but to prudence). I'll be interested to see how his Manchester City side approach this fixture.

Mourinho, on the other hand, is usually quite happy to sit on any lead, especially in good matches. (That isn't knocking him, as it has been an exceptionally effective tactic for him over his career.) With that in mind, I see Chelsea setting up to catch City on the counter. He knows City will press for a win, even away from home, and he will try to use that against them.

Think Chelsea will edge this one. Both teams have been playing well after their early season wobble. Hard to predict but i think Mourinho's tactics suits big games.
