Ronaldo suffering? Empty Ronaldo suffering?

Post by Gil Mon Aug 26, 2013 10:04 pm

The way it's looking he's not going to be anywhere near as prolific as he's been in the past in this system Carlo has implemented. Might be even worse after Bales imminent arrival.

Yeh it was weird seeing him kinda humbled on the pitch. I think this is a good move from Ancelotti. It's about the team, not one player.

He'll adapt and eventually score goals.

you didn even watch the game lmao, he got his chances, and he missed them all. First goal actually, benzema only scored because he missed his control in front of the keeper. Needs to improve his form but it will come.

We'll see I suppose could be knee jerk of course but I sense there's something in it.

Time will tell.

If i remember correctly Ronaldo started last season slowly as well?

He'll be back banging in the hatricks very soon, if not Ancelotti will change the system to make sure he does lmao.

Cristiano usually starts slowly to the La Liga campaign as this has been the case since his inauguration in Madrid.

He was a beast in Pre-season yet will take some time adapting to his modified role under Ancelotti.

I don't think it matters anyway as long we win games. It's about Real Madrid winning, not Ronaldo scoring.

DOnt be too harsh on Gil tho, he is using one of mourinho's special techniques to divert the attention from that chelsea vs utd game. he wants us to forget how crap and boring they were tonight

He is not going to be anywhere as prolific if Carlo truly wants to play a 'possession' game (whatever that means). Ronaldo is a counter attacking player. Quick transitions is what suits him the most. With Bale's imminent arrival counter attack is the way forward tbh
