Apparently Illaramendi to us will be finalized in a couple of hours as Sociedad want it over and done with before they start training on Thursday to prepare for CL without him.

It will be paid in two installments

Real Madrid are set to release goalkeeper Antonio Adan from his contract at the club after 16 years of service.

The 26-year-old joined Los Blancos as a youngster back in 1997, before rising through the youth ranks to take his place in the first team in 2010.

The shot-stopper has failed to make the No.1 jersey his own however, playing second, and even third fiddle, to Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez.

As such, the Santiago Bernabeu side have allowed Adan to be released from his contract and is now free to speak to other clubs.

Elche are said to be just one of several team interested in his services.

Getafe President Angel Torres has admitted that the club have made an approach for Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata.

“We made a request to Real Madrid,” he told reporters. “But I think there’s very little chance of him joining.

“After last season he deserves a place in their first team.”

Callejon to join Napoli this week for around 10m Euros, according to AS. He was bought for 5.5m Euros in 2011, so a profit.

Benitez obviously knows what he is doing. I read somewhere that Benitez wants to use him as a striker. if he does good there, mourinho can burn in hell because thats where he would have succeeded with us as well

They're looking for a Cavani replacement like Damiao, Dzeko etc and if Benitez plays his 4-2-3-1.

Eh with Ronaldo on our team, it wouldn't make sense.
Any top quality striker is welcome, but their focus wouldn't even be to score goals but to help link up with Ronaldo.
