Im a fan of him....strange since I wasnt much of a fan when he won the world player award and was at his best, and started liking and wanting to see more of him since he left Milan and got benched at Real mostly Razz Surely hes still a class player exciting type.... I just hope he will move on or get more playing time at Real at least...

Even if he did not score the brace vs Atalanta; he was absolutely perfect. I mean he was everywhere with his touches, distribution to both sides and provided a perfect link from midfield to attack.

Scored a brace with his left and right Proud

Ricardo Kaka Fan Club - Page 3 BdTyOoHIEAEHQN-

Should realistically reach 8th to possibly even above MVB.

Based on the way he is playing, Oscar is facing notable competition from Ricky, though I doubt Scolari will change it given his tactical importance to Brazil.

I don't think he will be called for World Cup ... then Kaka has always disappointed with Selecao ( even the best Kaka ) , never been close to levels who we've seen to Milan.

What...

Kaka was one of Brazil's finest players in the group stages of 2006 World Cup winning MOTM vs Croatia and Japan. Versus France he was one of the few actually creating anything until they got knocked out.

Best player who won them the 2010 Confed Cup; ended up with the Golden Ball and MOTM in the final.

Ended up the 2010 World Cup top assister (joint) as was their best player again the group stages.

Kaka has been a success for Brazil on most of his appearances as no one considers him a disappointment given his leadership when playing for them.

I don't count the Confederations Cup, it s a crap. Where Fabiano and Fred are great players..and Oniewu
about the Copa America and World Cup he wasn't to Milan levels IMHO, but I am not the first to say this
Anyway this is no the reason because he won't be called ( probably ), simply there are best players than him now

You don't get called up 87 times for Brazil with 30 goals for the NT, without reason.

Outside Oscar, name me a better Brazlian attacking midfielder at the moment.

Arq but aren't you " hyping" Coutinho  just yesterday?

anyway I did not want to say anything of negative about Kaka - a player that I respect-  but these are the difficulties  to interpret my thoughts in another language that is not mine ......

yes I think Kaka wasn't to level seen to Milan with Brazil, it doesn't mean he was crap , but in a lower level yes, he was absolutely top player to Milan , I feared so much in derby , and sincerely  the performance viewed in World Cup/Copa Americas can't be compared to that seen to Milan . Imo. maybe we ll have been good / decent against France, but he wasn't dominant as Milan against Celtic Bayern United etc etc

it is heresy? who knows, I don't care. but the mportant  thing is to contextualize and not misunderstanding

Yes indeed I hyped Coutinho. Yet that was between who is the better player and who has performed better recently. Yet that point cannot be included given that Coutinho has little to no experience within Brazil, let alone Scolari's system.

Who really replicates club form for International? Cristiano doesn't, Messi doesn't, nor do Bale, Rooney, Hazard etc while DDR, Pirlo, Neymar and Zlatan are exceptions. Kaka was always deployed deeper than what he was in Ancelotti's 4-3-2-1 Christmas Tree which afforded him a more playmaking role and less chances to score, similar to his current role in Milan; thus less tangible inferences in judging his play for Brazil.

Conclusively, his performances for Brazil never fell short of the standard he holds as the teams continuing decline after 2002 didn't help anyones cause.

I think its because he plays different roles in the national team and at Milan. This can also be seen if you compare his performances currently with that at real madrid. At the international level and at real madrid, Kaka was more composed with the ball, he was not explosive but was still effective and played smart because he was probably asked to play as a classic number 10. However, the classic number 10 is not a role that suits Kaka because he is an entirely different kind of player; he is a players that likes to move a lot as well as creating chances. At Milan, Kaka is given a free role which enables him to make the runs that are natural to him and that suit his unique style.

Nonetheless, as Arq stated, Kaka did succeed at the international level but by playing in a different way.

Super agent Enzo Bronzetti says Manchester City were willing to pay a world record fee for Kaka in 2009.

AC Milan famously pulled the plug on the deal as fans protested against the sale.

Bronzetti recalled to TMW: "In 2009, Kaka was sold to Manchester City for the sensational sum of €109 million. There were contracts signed, missing only the announcement.

"The protests of the fans and the reverse on behalf of the club blew up the deal.

"Kaka was sold six months later to Real Madrid for €67 million. So AC Milan lost practically €40 million from that transfer."

If Chelsea had a player who can score like he did in 2 3 4, they wouldve won the title way before.
