lol i love when we make up new categories to give the players we like extra props because we know their deficiencies. e.g. a fan knows a goalie isn't the best in the world, but to make him better than he is we say "best passing goal keeper", or a dm/cb whose defending is bonkers becomes "most acrobatic dm, or best passing dm"...

one thing i'd give marcelo, the kid's got a lot of heart, but he ike ramos still gives me panic attacks on defense, sometimes he's not even in his position at all, like that last semi final against juve. he's fantastic for our team, but its high time someone taught him to defend a little. and he's also a bit of an injury prone player. i'm not going to talk about comparing him to carlos maldini zanetti et al, its disrespectful to them. let the man enjoy his time

Carlos was better in attacking as well, just fyi Valk but I like that you're consistent with this one so I'll just agree to disagree with your view on Marcelo. That being said, would not trade him with any left back out currently, well, not anymore.

I like Marcelo but he is too incomplete to be compared to Carlos and specially Maldini.
