Really have you ever seen Pele play? Let the haters keep hating, Pele was literally a god amongst men. Ronaldo was the greatest of his era and one of the greatest of all time but Pele is THE greatest of all time.

Ronaldo, I have only seen videos of Pele but the things I seen R9 do, to me he is the greatest striker of all time. The things he could have done if it was not for his injuries is just unimaginable.

Stupid comparison, look for the Pele is not great thread [facts] thread to see why Pele is so great (the pele faction in the forum managed to prove that, all the while controlling the thread from evolving into madrid vs barca). I may post the whole argument here sometimes, but I feel the question to be irrelevent since they are both Tier 1 players, so they are the same. Pele is more of a legend though, and Ronaldo may or may not reach such statues in the future. (this is natural since you only evolve into a legend as you grow older).
Also, Podolski is better than both, which makes this thread silly

well, pelé was more consistent, that's all i can say about it.. garrincha was a heavy drinker, adriano style..... but i still havent watched the 1962 or 58 world cup matches, so i cant say anymore..
