It isn't a myth that Thiago didn't reach the minutes needed to keep the 90 milion clause by a few games, and that's what matters here. Stop being so arrogant, you are tiring.

It's tiring because it's tiring to find arguments against logic. Thiago played as much as Iniesta and more than Xavi in La Liga when injury-free, which is a fact which can be looked up at Transfermarkt. And Iniesta had one of his best seasons last year under Tito. So logically Thiago didn't even deserve to play as much as he did.

You don't find arguments, you just change the topic. No one is arguing if Thiago should have played more or not because of his performance (he should, he was better than Xavi most of the second half of the season), but saying that Tito should have been informed that he needed a minimum of games to have a 90 milion clause and play Thiago once the league was in the bag (which he didn't) to reach that minutes.

Let me get this straight. I am changing the topic talking about the minutes Thiago has played when the topic is the amount of minutes Thiago has played? Okay.

In the entire second half of La Liga Thiago missed 2 games. 12 out of 19 times he was in the starting lineup. Iniesta missed 2 games and was in the starting lineup 13 times in the same timeframe. You think if Rosell told Tito, Tito would have played Thiago more than Iniesta? And for how long will we play this game? Because every new season it will start from 0. Will Iniesta demand contractual playing time as well before renewing?

The pro Thiago anti Cesc bias on this forum is horrible. Imagine Cesc demanding playing time in his contract. I mean people already hate on him because he says things like "I want to convince the coach that I can start big games". Imagine the outrage if he asked for such a thing in his contract.

Rafinha, now on loan at Celta, only wants to return next season if he gets enough playing time. Future to be decided at end of season. [md]

Are we still having a conversation about an injury-prone player who didn't care about the club and is so vastly overrated on this forum? Oh, and let's just forget that he has been injured for almost three months now and that Cesc is bossing it. And that we have other options like Sergi Roberto or Song to play in Thiago's place.

Thiago wasn't ever going to be a replacement for Xavi anyway, he is more of a Iniesta-type player. I'm really curious to see how he does in the pivot role at Bayern, I never saw him as a defensive player.
