Juve for the Scudetto this season ?

Post by Patrick Bateman on Sat Jan 28, 2012 10:16 pm

Can't see them slowing down, just after beating Udinese tonight, had a few players missing as well didn't really play that well but still won.If Milan get past Arsenal I say they good as have it in the bag.Just my opinion though.

Your thoughts ?

I have yet to see more than 5 games won convincingly by Juve. They win all their games with small margins.

With 4 points lead and 1 more game played (and many more to go) It's hard for me to say for definite that Juve will win the scudetto.

If there's only 2/3 matches left for the season, then probably...

This is a new Juve, very different from the past few seasons. Any joe who follows juve can tell you that. Iv been hesitating from celebrating too much after how the last 2 seasons went but as Patrick bateman says juve haven't shown any signs of truely slowing down.

I believe their only downfall this season can be down to lack of finishing good chances and depending on how our injury list turns out to be, which hopefully, for a change, won't be too harsh this year.

All in all it looks good to be a juve fan do far, more than halfway through the season unbeaten and top of the league. Although not to say juve will win the scudetto, there are other top teams still competing in the most competative league on earth.

Serie A

Doesn't matter if you win by 1 goal or 10 goals winning is winning

if nainggolan comes...our chances will definitely increase.

i think milan game will be a good indicator.

and other fans. stop using CL as an excuse. milan squad is big enough and has enough quality to handle playing in UCL, Seria A and Coppa Italia.
Milan just started the season slower, and it took some time to get into rhythm.

juve got coppa italia this week too..yet we still dominated udinese tonight apart for 10 min at the beginning of each half.

...there wasn't a UCL game for almost 2 months...yet juve is still there..and italian teams in ucl still slip.

milan and juve will fight for this.
and as conte, allegri, guidolin and others said...milan has something more...more quality in the squad.

Exactly, United were known throughout the years by not always winning convincingly but grinding results out, winning ugly, and that has always been one of there main strengths. I see no harm in juve having that attitude either.

Definite contenders...still think Milan are favorites though

For all the talk of them being undefeated and what not...they are only 1 point ahead of Milan if Milan wins their game in hand

Hell, we've had an absolutely horrid season and if we win tomorrow were only 6 back...

Its far from over

i my opinion i think we do. we have only 3 good midfielders, vidal, marchisio and pirlo, a young promising one, marrone, and if he stays, an ok one, pazienza. giaccherini is a bet, and experiment in the center.
what happens if one of the three is suspended or gets injured?
what happens if 2 of them are missing?
a scudetto is won by the team who has the best benchwarmers in my opinion. and with nainggolan, we could rotate and rest some of them from time to time.

it's definitely encouraging that we are still undefeated with krasic, elia, quags and storari barely playing. it's nice thinking how much better we weould be if they manage to understand what conte wants from them.
and caceres will solidify our defense.
the second part of serie a will be a memorable one no matter what happens

i would write more..but i'm tired. it's 2 am here

When Milan play Juve next it will be the pivotal game of the season. Juve are currently undefeated in the league and this has given them great confidence and momentum. If someone puts an end to this run I think the whole house of cards will come tumbling down. So, who better to put an end to it that their most serious title contenders?

We have been dominating every single team we've faced till now. Every single one.

Give me one reason only for believing that.

You think Juve players are that naive to do that? 1 defeat and we fall?

Juventus will lose at some point eventually. And by your logic, Juventus will never rise again.

When I see these types of comments it just makes me wanna puke. That's not even logic dude.

At lease say we're gonna lose by pointing some of our flaws.

Ridiculous. Arghh :brickwall:

We def have a good chance but at the moment the gap between juve and milan is to small for juve or its fans to get to excited.

If we can get 3 points from all our games before we va milan and then beat milan, then ill fairly confident.

As it stands still to early as one slip up and milan will be top.

Milan vs juve game will be decisive
