We really need to get Neymar

Whether he takes Di Maria's spot or not, Neymar can takeover from Ronaldo in the future.

Plus he will probably win the Ballon d'Or sometime in the future too.

So yeh, we can get Hazard or Gotze, but we should make Neymar our number 1 target.

hell go to either madrid or barca in 2014,thats for sure.its up to him since both of these clubs are really interested.If im correct Villa's contract expires in 2014,pedro will probably leave,i dont see him accepting being last in the pecking order.the main difference is that barcelona legitimately need him while you guys dont.

He hasn't been too impressive this season imo

He is still young but I don't think he is needed as much as people think, we have proven performers atm and I don't see where he would even fit in the team.

Isn't Santos 10th right now? Crimson is not talking about 2010... he's talking about 2011. Understand Brazil NT screwed a few games up... but Santos is 18pts back with a breakeven record (15 wins, 15 losses and 8 draws). Goal differential of zero.

And Neymar has 12 goals and 4 assists in 21 games... which is good tbh. But Benz and Higuain are around the 1.4-1.5 goals+assists ratio for every 90 mins. Di Maria is probably excellent there too. CR7 is in another stratosphere probably. Not sure if Neymar is there.

Well, Neymar is interesting because of his potential, we have debated before about this, and as a signing, guys like Hazard or Gotze would have stronger immediate impact.

If he is to go to barca, let's just hope he flops, or doesnt turn into a new ronaldinho

Meh the specter of Robinho still haunts the corridors of the Bernabeu... Neymar has great potential but I think that 2014 is a great Idea for him, personally. He can develop and come to Europe as a more polished article. He needs to mature both physically but more importantly mentally, so that he can truly handle the pressures of the Bernabeu and unleash is monumental talent...

Having said all that Jese and Sarabia will keep him on the bench!

@czy i swear,this is like the 5th time im saying this lol....Santos won the libertadores,its end of season for them.Its always like this for brazilian teams,the Libertadores is the biggest objective in the history of a club,when you win it,the teams are automatically classified for next season's libertadores.In July,they had already won it and Neymar/Ganso went to Copa America,Santos were too far from the title so they just gave up and started rotating players and when they did play their starting team there was no reason for them to go 100%.

I think you guys dont get this because its not something European clubs do,but its what most if not all clubs that win the libertadores do...rest their players.

about the stats,he has 31 goals in 49 games,the difference between him and benz is that he is normally the one creating play for him or other to score + he didnt have a single playmaker around him since ganso was injured for most of the season.

You also have to take in consideration that its rare for him to score more than 1-2 goals in a game,his goals are well distributed

31 goals in 49 games for a 19 year old is unparalleled.
