About to get Leonardo as their technical director.

I've also heard that Carlo has been contacted.

Makalele was very much over the hill. Matuidi is a great talent and much better than Makalele today.

I'm more of a Marseille fan, so I'm tone a bit. But League 1 needs a super team to force the other to up themselves. It's become a bit stagnant lately and loses all it's best talent abroad.

We need to get our salary structure waaaay up. Football still mostly attracts youth and lower income fans here. It hasn't hit the spending fans yet... Of course, you'll tell me that the French don't spend anyhow. My point is you need to get a multiple-generational and wide income range fan base. Luxury seating and boxes are critical.

Teams need to become part of high society more.

Marketing is a big fail here. We lost the 1998 wc and 2000 euro momentum.

i think the fact that most of the fance NT are playing in france can be a positive, specially with the euro coming, they will have to do well.

Varane confirmed that he has an offer from PSG and "one other french club", both around 10 million. He said that there were offers from Man U and Madrid higher than that... but both were shut down as the player wants to stay in France. He wants to finish HS and get some experience before leaving the country.
