Very good Goalkeeper, I rate him alongside Reina, Valdes, Adler etc.

2nd best Goalie in the Premier league.

I think he is a bit underrated now.

3 years ago, I thought he'd never make it back again at top level. If you remember his howler in Euro 2008, and in 08-09 season, where he even got some abuse from Chelsea fans.
However, Under Carol he came back. Not quite as good as before injury, but very good nonetheleess, but still sometimes goes through patches when being a bit scared and lazy when balls come to the box cost Chelsea. (the game Chelseea won 4-2 @ Sunderland, Meireles' goal at Torres' debut, home game vs Everton, etc)
Top 3 in PL.
At his peak, he was fantastic. but 7th best keeper in the past 25 years is extremely generous considering some names below him.

Best goalkeeper in the World hands down until his head injury. He was then overrated after despite losing his 04-06 form then he became ridiculously underrated after that Che4-4 Liverpool game despite recovering spectacularly.
I mean some people think Joe Hart is better than him ffs.

He's a really good goalkeeper for sure. If I'd say "Top5" or "Top10", people would probably ask who's ranked before/after/wherever, so I'll just say I rate him very highly.

I agree with Gil that before his head injury, he was the best keeper in the world. I still remember his performance in their 4-2 win v Barca in 05, he was unbelieveable that day and there was a moment when he saved a point blank range header from like 2 yards out and pushed the ball out of danger. Incredible.
Now he is just a very good keeper, but nowhere near as good as he was before his head injury.
